Blah, Blah, Blah

It seems you are nobody until you've been the voice of a character in an animated movie, starred in a Broadway play or have your own blog. I took the easy way out and chose the latter since I have always been intrigued, enticed, curious and even envious by and of blogs and their bloggers. I have many likes (and dislikes), and always have a story to tell. Therefore, I thought this would be a good place to manage it all.

I am a foodie, a baker, a crafter, a gardener, a backyard photographer and a nurturer. I have quite a repertoire of recipes, craft ideas, gardening tips, pets and "things" that make me tick. At this point in my life, I believe it is time to put it all out there; the good, the bad and the ugly (boring). Not sure, this being my first experience with blogging, how anyone outside of the family and friends, would happen across my blog. Of course the aforementioned family and friends will feel obligated to check it out once I bring to their attention that it exists.

I chose the name Winged Musings because I am enamored with many winged creatures, that is, butterflies, dragonflies, birds & fairies to name a few. Musings because I am always occupied by something. Something that keeps me involved and a bit captivated. Most of my artwork, regardless of the chosen media, incorporates wings of one kind or another somewhere within it and goes under the umbrella of Winged Musings. It's only fitting that my blog would take on the same name.

I plan on posting anything and everything that interests me as well as those things that may not, but may be of interest to others, that sorta fits in with those things that interest me.  This should be much easier than writing a book, although not as prestigious. So, here's to being myself and sharing with you, my fans - even if you got here by accident!
